How to Buy Waverly Farms Artisanal Meats

Waverly Farms, LC artisanal meats are freely ranged on pasture every day all day and supplemented with our own chemical-free hay and the Certified Organic sea kelp, winter peas, barley and other whole foods.

Our meats are harvested seasonally, usually in late summer and fall, after animals have had the benefit of spring and summer grasses. Advanced reservation is required since we only harvest animals after they are sold.

Customers may purchase a portion of each animal in advance of our harvest, either 1/8th, 1/4th, 1/2 or the whole animal. We arrange for your animal to be custom butchered locally to your specifications.  

Below are the approximate weights and prices of meats raised at Waverly Farms. All prices include custom butchering and packaging to your specifications. We can help you with the types of cuts available from each animal and other options such as the thickness of your steaks and package sizes.

Individual cuts are vacuum sealed, labeled, dated and weighted. Your purchase also includes delivery up to 50 miles from our farm (there is a $1/mile surcharge for longer deliveries).

Custom Butcher includes a proportionate share of all available cuts, which vary by animal. We will not know the actual weight of your purchase until it is butchered and delivered. A 25% deposit is required to reserve a share and can be paid by check or calling us with your credit card. Please also send your name, address, email address and telephone number so we may call you to discuss custom cuts and to arrange a harvest date.
